All
Niskayuna elementary schools offer free
Preschool Story Hours during the school
year for students entering kindergarten
next fall.
•Birchwood
Program is held on Thursdays beginning
in early January and ending in
April, from 12:45-1:50 p.m. The program
includes a 30-minute story time in the
media center with Mrs. Disque and a
20-minute activity time in the gymnasium
with physical education teacher Mr.
West. Preschoolers are also have an
opportunity to borrow library books.
Teachers and staff members are
frequently scheduled to speak with
parents about school programs during the
hour when children are engaged in the
gym and library.

Program is held on Thursdays between
12:15-1:05 p.m. from January 7-April 1.

•Rosendale
Program will begin on Thursday,
December 1, 2011 and will meet weekly on
Thursdays from 10:30-11:00am except when
school is not in session
in the Rosendale Library Media Center
with Mrs. Carboni.
