THE NISKAYUNA COMMUNITY ACTION PROGRAM

 

   N-CAP . . . “Twenty five years, and counting!”  The NISKAYUNA COMMUNITY ACTION PROGRAM is a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to providing programs and supporting existing programs important to the people who live and/or work in the Niskayuna Central School District and the Town of Niskayuna.

NISKA-DAY  A celebration of our community with parade, grandstand, exhibits, games, entertainment, food, fireworks, Saturday May 16, 2009 Craig elementary School

Presidents Volunteer Service Award (ongoing) The PVSA- a national program to recognize individuals, families, and groups with outstanding community service.  Recognition takes place at Iroquois Middle School in mid-June.

 

Niska Game for Middle School Kids - a night of drug-free fun for Middle School kids, - and a fund-raiser for N-CAP.  A GIANT floor –sized local monopoly game for kids.   Click here for photos and details on how to get involved.

                                      FOR YOUTH

                                    MEMBERSHIP

                 
After-Prom
– for anyone attending the Junior Prom- providing a safe and drug free place for kids to be after the prom.

Scholarships for graduating seniors (two) annual scholarship to graduating seniors meeting application criteria.  Information available the HS guidance office

 

Sponsorships for Community Groups and clubs- financial support to natural Helpers, Youth to Youth, numerous community youth athletic clubs, and
Senior Citizens.

 

 


  N-CAP
is a fully sanctioned 501(C) (3). Membership is voluntary and support can be in either or both of two ways   
            Financial  Support and/or Participation:


You can be a Financial Contributor through donation:
Family membership   $15 +   Special Friend $25+
Other Contributor $ ___
 

You can be a participant: Serve on a team involved with one or more of the programs/activities.
