Board of Education recognized for efforts on
behalf of Niskayuna students
The seven-member Board of Education was
recognized October 18, 2004 as part of New York State
School Board Recognition Week (officially slated
by Gov. George Pataki for October 25-29).
The evening
ceremony included presentation of framed posters
displaying student artwork and DVDs of
student-created films to each board member.
Students, parents, school administrators and
community were in attendance to thank board
members for all their efforts.
Congratulations to
the students whose artwork is featured on the
"Best of Nisk-Art" poster that was presented to
each Board of Education member: Lina Bagepalli,
Brittany Bodmer, Sherry Cesare,
Jean Deaton, Kathleen DiCocco, Gregory Goldberg, Leto
Karatsolis-Chanikian, Krysten Riley, Emily Symolon, Jessica Welge, Nicholas Wolfe,
and Julia Ziac. Congratulations also to the
students whose short films appear in the DVD
presented to the board: Michael Borowiec, Lisa
D'Aniello, Brian Dillon, Michael Eddy, and
Kishori Rajan. Great job students! |
