Voting by absentee ballot
Eligible residents
who are unable to vote at the polls can register their choices by absentee
ballot.
Note:
Absentee ballots can be requested in person (at
the District Office, 1239 Van Antwerp Road)
until the day before the vote. The deadline for
requesting a ballot be mailed is seven days
before the vote.
Completed
applications and ballots must be received by the
clerk no later than 5 p.m. on the day of the
vote.

Are you
eligible to vote?
You are eligible to vote if you are a
U.S. citizen, 18 years or older and have been a
Niskayuna school district resident for at least
30 days prior to the vote. No pre-registration
is required, though personal identification
(such as a driver's license) is
requested at the polls.
