Where is the pool located?
The pool is at Niskayuna High School, 1626 Balltown Road, located in the north end of the building. The main entrance to the pool/fitness center is just off the main parking lot near the Balltown entrance.

When is the pool open?
In general, the pool will be used from as early as 6 a.m. to as late as 9:50 p.m. During this time, the pool is scheduled for such activities as physical education classes, community use, Continuing Education classes, and athletic team practices and meets. Cancellations and changes in hours are also listed on this Web site.

When is the pool available for community use?

How deep is the pool?
The pool is eight lanes wide and graduates from 3 feet deep at the shallow end to 13 feet at the deepest end. It is designed to accommodate swimmers of all levels and has a handicapped-accessible entry area.

What is the temperature of the pool?
The water temperature is between 78 and 82 degrees Fahrenheit.

Where do I go to use the pool area?
There are men's and women's locker rooms adjacent to the pool area for changing. You can then enter the pool area from the locker rooms. Lockers are available for storing items (you must provide a lock).  Do not leave locks overnight or weekends, they will be removed.

How much water is there in the pool?
The pool has approximately 357,000 gallons of water.
